| Remarks |
We have no time to visit the Neues Palais or Sanssouci and the group is too big. If you like, you can go there yourself on Thursday. For those who do not want to walk: you can use the bus to Sanssouci and wait in the garden. Use public bus from Cecilienhof to Dahlem (1:20 h, 3 €) if you want to leave early. In case of really bad weather, we will think about something else. Cecilienhof and Meierei are fixed points. |

The Berlin area is full of interesting places which you may wish to visit, not only the KaDeWe (or other) shopping temples. Some interesting sites are not well prepared for large groups, e.g. Nefertiti bust (Nofretete in German) with 30 people around is no fun. Reasons can be that the rooms are small or do not allow too much humidity, like the castles in Potsdam, or (small) groups have to be registered in advance. |
